Brief profile
Priscilla is a lecturer in Occupational Therapy. She graduated as an occupational therapist in 1990 and worked in clinical mental health services until 2004. She worked in a range of teams in Victoria, Australia and London, UK. She has worked part time at La Trobe since 2002 lecturing in the areas of mental health, intentional communication and occupational theory. Priscilla completed a Masters of Occupational Therapy in 2004 and is a current PhD candidate, pursuing the topic: The impact and experience of postsecondary education in the lives of people living with mental illness. She was a senior writer on MHPOD, a national online curriculum for the development of the Australian Mental Health Workforce. Priscilla is a member of Occupational Therapy Australia and the Australian and New Zealand Occupational Therapy Mental Health Academics.
