Brief profile

Dr Konstandina (Connie) Koklanis is a Lecturer in the Department of Clinical Vision Sciences. She is involved in teaching and/or coordinating various subjects including: Binocular Vision, Concomitant Strabismus, Neuro-ophthalmology, Eye Health Care Systems and Case Management Strabismus and Paediatric Ophthalmology.

Connie is also the Chief Orthoptist at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne. This association facilitates significant links between the Department of Clinical Vision Sciences and the Department of Ophthalmology at the Royal Children Hospital. It also enhances research and clinical education in paediatrics and ocular motility.

Connie is an active member of the Orthoptics Australia and is currently the President of the association. In addition, she is one of the Editors in Chief of the Australian Orthoptic Journal, the official and peer-reviewed journal of the Orthoptics Australia.
