Brief Profile
Since graduating Kate has worked in paediatrics, in both Community Health and Early Intervention settings. She has a special passion for the application of Hanen programs to parents and carers of young children, particularly the Target Word® Hanen Program for Parents of Children who are Late Talkers. Kate enjoys working with students as well as clients, and helping guide students in their journey from university students to ‘real life speechies’. Kate works as a Speech Pathologist and Clinical Educator in the La Trobe Communication Clinic, and also has an academic role on the Clinical Education Team. She is the current Victorian Branch President for Speech Pathology Australia.
