Kate is the postgraduate course coordinator for mental health and a lecturer for the undergraduate nursing degree. She has a background in comprehensive and psychiatric nursing. Her interests include psychiatric triage, mental health presentations in emergency departments, community mental health, service delivery, e-health and communications technology. Kate also has a specific interest in simulation for undergraduate and clinical education. Kate has previous experience as a senior clinician and in management. She has developed and delivered education and training across health services state-wide. Her research interests include psychiatric triage, simulation and clinical education.
