Brief Profile

Dr Bridget Ryburn joined the Australian Institute for Primary Care and Ageing in 2006.  Her interests include the development and evaluation of services for older adults with neuropsychological difficulties and their families.  She is currently the principle investigator for a project J.O. and J. R. Wicking Trust which involves the development and evaluation of a new information resource for people with MCI and early dementia.  She has also undertaken consultancies for government agencies; she recently developed a booklet for service providers that highlights methods to support care relationships and was the lead author of an international literature review of the existing evidence base for the ‘Active Service Model’ approach in HACC services.  

Bridget brings her background of ten years' experience working with older adults as a clinical neuropsychologist. She practices part-time as the Senior Neuropsychologist at the Kingston Cognitive, Dementia and Memory Service and in private practice.
