Department of Clinical Vision Sciences

We are one of only two training departments for orthoptics in Australia. Our graduates are welcomed throughout Australia, South East Asia, North America and Europe. The Bachelor of Health Science/Master of Orthoptics and Graduate Entry Master of Orthoptics programs provide a professional qualification as an orthoptist.

Orthoptists are eye care professionals who specialise in the detection, diagnosis and treatment of vision and eye disorders. You may work in private practice, specialist eye clinics, rehabilitation services, low vision agencies, and eye and vision research centres.
