Tertiary Enabling Program

The Tertiary Enabling Program is a university preparatory program. It is designed for students who do not have the qualifications to gain entry to university and provides them with the academic skills and confidence necessary to successfully undertake university study. The program also equips students to make decisions about future learning and develop pathways for continuing education.

Recognition

The Tertiary Enabling Program is a non-award, pre-university course. It is a recognised pathway to selected La Trobe undergraduate diploma and degree courses. Conditions apply both in terms of the number of subjects completed and the results achieved.

Admissions requirements

Applicants must be 18 years of age at the start of the program and be Australian or New Zealand citizens or permanent visa holders. Applicants must also have Tertiary Enabling Program level English language and literacy proficiency.

Course structure

The Tertiary Enabling Program is delivered across 17 weeks and consists of four interrelated subjects.
Each subject is 15 credit points.
