International student support services

Each semester, LTI runs a variety of programs (including social activities and competitions), in which all international students are encouraged to participate. For more information see:

www.latrobe.edu.au/international/life/activities

Friendship program

A series of fun and inexpensive social activities are held throughout semester. This program provides opportunities to meet students – both Australian and international – in a relaxed environment.

Language and Cultural Exchange

The Language and Cultural Exchange program brings local and international students together to exchange language skills and share cultural knowledge. Students are matched with one or more students to practise their language skills (e.g. English, Mandarin, Chinese, and Spanish) and share knowledge. There are also group events, including BBQs (barbecues), where students can meet even more students in the program.

InterNews

InterNews is a fortnightly email newsletter of important and interesting information for international students, ranging from events on campus and around Melbourne to relevant changes in university and immigration regulations. All international students are encouraged to subscribe to InterNews and also to contribute news items. To subscribe, email: studentsupport@latrobe.edu.au
