The Master of Tourism provides an advanced programme for study in Tourism analysis, policy and marketing. It also offers a pathway for entry to research studies within the field.
Admission Requirements
Domestic Australian applicants - graduates who have qualified for the award of a Bachelor’s degree, a Graduate Diploma or a Postgraduate Diploma from a recognised Australian University with a minimum ‘C’ average in their final year of study. Applicants should also be able to demonstrate relevant work experience in a tourism related industry.
International Applicants - graduates who have qualified for the award of Bachelor’s degree or of a Postgraduate Diploma from a recognised Australian University or from an international University recognised as equivalent. Applicants will only be considered if they have maintained a minimum ‘C’ average in their final year of study. Applicants should also be able to demonstrate relevant work experience in a tourism related industry.
Degree requirements
Students must complete 8 compulsory subjects (120 credit points) and is designed to be completed in 12 months, but domestic students may enrol for part-time study. Applicants are advised that this is an intensive program which requires their active participation and attendance throughout the year.
