Master of Tourism with Honours

The Master of Tourism with Honours provides a pathway to higher level studies and research degrees in the field of Tourism.

Admission Requirements

Entry to the programme is contingent on the successful completion of the Master of Tourism with a 65% C+ grade average across all eight subjects of study in the first year. Students are also required to complete THS5RTH in their second semester.

Degree requirements

The honours program requires a further semester of study or a year of part-time study following completion of the Master of Tourism.

Course Structure

Students are required to attend a series of sessions on research preparation and complete a 15,000 word thesis. The thesis will be completed under the direct supervision of an academic staff member. Approval of a research topic is subject to the availability of a supervisor in the designated discipline area.
