Master of Financial Analysis/Master of Islamic Banking and Finance

Course Description

This course provides a pathway to the internationally-recognised Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter and international professional recognition of the specialised field of Islamic finance. This course is aligned with the CIFP curriculum and gains students advanced standing for CIFP part 1.Graduates gain expertise in financial analysis while specialising in the expanding field of Islamic finance.

Admission requirements

A La Trobe University three-year bachelor degree or an approved equivalent undergraduate or postgraduate degree with an average in excess of 60% in the final year.

Degree requirements

The course requires twenty, 15 credit point subjects completed in five six-month semesters of full-time study.

The course structure is built on four modules of study. The course structure is built on four modules of study. The four modules are: foundation module, MFA core module, LMIBF core module, and elective module.
