Master of International Business / Master of International Relations

The era of globalisation increasingly requires people who wish to work in this area to have an understanding of the broader issues of politics, strategy, culture, law and international institutional frameworks as they impact on international business. This double Masters degree aims to provide students with an understanding of links between the major international business functions and the international political framework, while preparing them for a career in an international business environment.

Prerequisites

An Australian Bachelor's degree in humanities and social sciences or cognate field or approved international equivalent with at least a B grade average.

Course structure

Students complete 90 credit points from the Master of International Business and 90 credit points from the Master of International Relations.

  • For the Master of International Business, students complete compulsory subjects and two electives.
  • For the Master of International Relations, students complete two compulsory subjects along with 30 credit points in fifth-year electives.

  • 60 credit points of core subjects - POL5SPW, students may take both, and
  • 30 credit points of elective fifth-year subjects from List A below (Students who take all 3 core subjects will not be required to complete 30 credit points from List A)
