Course Duration: 1 year full-time, 2 years part-time

The Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) is a one-year, full-time or two-year, part-time, 120-credit point award providing students with the detailed knowledge and skills required to provide professional leadership in contemporary clinical nursing specialties. Expert speakers from nursing, pharmacology, radiology, pathology, physiotherapy and other disciplines will contribute to the course. Students must have five years post-registration experience in their specialty, a post graduate nursing qualificaiton and be employed by an appropriate agency.

It is expected that students would complete the core subjects NSG5CPD in the first year and complete their specialty subjects in the second year.

Admission Requirements

Students require a letter of organisational support indicating clinical governance and professional indemnity.
