The Master of Education provides an opportunity for candidates to undertake research in their area of interest across a wide range of education topics. Areas of expertise in the Faculty of Education include: Adult Learning, Applied Linguistics, Art Education, Educational Administration and Leadership, E-learning Pedagogies, Gender and Sexualities, Health Education, Innovative Curriculum and Effective Classrooms, Intercultural Studies, Language and Literacy, Mathematics Education, Nature Tourism and Natural Resources Education, Organisational Change, Outdoor and Environmental Education, Physical Education, Policy Research and Evaluation, Psychology in Educational Practice, Science Education, Second Language Acquisition, Student Advocacy and Wellbeing, TESOL/LOTE Teaching, Technology Education, Transformative Learning and Vocational Education and Training.

Admission requirements

  • A four year degree equivalent teaching qualification with relevant experience; or
  • a fourth year Graduate Diploma with a B average or better; or
  • Honours degree at 2A level or better.
