Graduate Diploma in Business Studies

This course is designed to enable graduates of any discipline to undertake a program of study in the fields of human resource management or marketing, and assumes no previous business studies.

The course introduces students to leading edge developments in the field of study, and the learning environment prepares students to contribute to organisational development both at individual and team levels. The problem-focused approach taken in the course assists students to develop problem-solving and decision-making skills that lead to the effective management and marketing of a diversity of businesses.

Admission requirements

An Australian Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or an approved equivalent qualification.

Course structure

The course is taken over one to two years full-time or part-time equivalent. It consists of eight 15-credit point subjects as follows (total 120 credit points). Other subjects may be substituted at the course coordinator’s discretion. No more than two first-year level subjects and a minimum of three third-year subjects from the list below must be included in your program.
