International student programs

Each semester, LTI runs a variety of programs (including social activities, community engagement and competitions), in which all international students are encouraged to participate.

Language and Cultural Exchange (LACE)

The Language and Cultural Exchange (LACE) program brings local and international students together to exchange language skills and share cultural knowledge. Students are matched with one or more students to practise their language skills (e.g. English, Mandarin, Chinese, and Spanish) and share their cultural knowledge. There are also group events, such as BBQs (barbecues) and lunches, where students can meet even more students in the program.

Weekend Break Program

Students can join a Weekend Break Program that occurs over the course of one weekend where they are hosted by a  host family in regional Victoria. During the weekend students have opportunities to experience a regional environment, learn more about Australia and engage in cultural exchange. Program dates for each year is advertised in InterNews.
