Degree requirements

Students must complete a course of subjects accumulating a minimum total of 360 credit points, at least 255 of which must be subjects offered in the Faculty of Law and Management. The course is designed to be completed within three years of full-time study, although part-time study is possible. Maximum course duration is seven years.

Students should undertake 120 credit points at each year level and must undertake at least 120 credit points at third year level including 90 credit points at third year level from the Faculty of Law and Management. Variations to this structure must be approved by a Regional School of Business course adviser.

The structure of the 24-subject degree program enables students to complete a core of ten core foundation subjects, followed by one seven-subject major or two four-subject minors.

Some subjects in the management, marketing and human resource management majors will only be offered in alternate years. All students will need to follow the enrolment schedule published on the campus website. Students who wish to complete a double major must consult a course adviser before commencing semester two studies in the first year of the course; full-time students may be required in first year to complete two designated subjects from their chosen majors in order to meet pre requisite requirements.
