School of Psychological Science

The School offers a three-year major sequence in psychology that forms the core of the Bachelor of Psychological Science (BPsySc) on each of the three campuses. The sequence at Albury-Wodonga and Bendigo is taught through a combination of distance education lectures using video- conferencing and on-campus practical and tutorial classes. A fourth year Honours-level course that leads to the Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) is offered on the Melbourne (Bundoora) Campus. Both the Bachelor of Psychological Science and the Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) degrees are accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) with the four-year sequence of psychology subjects in these degrees providing the basis for provisional registration as a probationary psychologist with the Psychologists’ Registration Board of Victoria. Further training and experience is required for full registration as a psychologist.
