Bachelor of International Business (ACN) (LBIBSY)
In conjunction with the Australian Campus Network (ACN), La Trobe University offers the Bachelor of Business and the Bachelor of International Business in Sydney. These programs are open to international and Australian students. The majors on offer are: Accounting*, Management, Marketing, Financial Management, Human Resource Management and Sustainable Resource Management.
There are four points of entry into the undergraduate degree programs:
- Satisfactory completion** of the Diploma program (advanced standing of up to 8 subjects will be awarded).
- Completion of the Foundation Studies program at ACN with an overall average of 65%***.
- For high school leavers, an UAI is required. The UAI requirement is published annually at the beginning of the year.

Degree requirements:
- Students must complete a course of subjects accumulating a minimum total of 360 credit points (24 subjects). These courses are designed to be completed within two or three years of full-time study, although part-time study is possible.
- Students may not take a second or third year subject unless they have completed either their first year, or at least four first year subjects and are concurrently completing the remainder.
- Students should undertake 120 credit points at each year level.

* The Accounting major is only available for International students. Domestic students who are keen to enrol in this major must seek advice from the Academic Advisors. This program is accredited by the National Institute of Accountants.
** Academic Progression requirements apply.
*** Must also achieve a score of 60% for FSP00AS2 and 50% for FSP00EM2.
Offshore and external students wishing to transfer to a La Trobe University Victorian campus
Students admitted to a Faculty of Law and Management course at an offshore or external location are able to apply to transfer to courses conducted at the Melbourne (Bundoora), Bendigo and Albury-Wodonga campuses of La Trobe University for part of their studies.
Academic requirements
When evaluating requests for transfers, the following information will be taken into account:

- Academic results: To be considered for a transfer it is expected that students applying for a course within the Faculty of Law and Management will have a C+ average in their current course of study. Students applying to transfer to the Bachelor of Laws will require a B+ average to be considered.

- Length of time studying: Students applying for transfer will normally have completed the equivalent of one full-time year of study before being considered.
In addition, international students must meet the following requirements:

- A minimum English language requirement of an IELTS (or equivalent) score of 6, with no band falling below 6. For entry into the Bachelor of Laws students must have met the minimum English language requirements of an IELTS (or equivalent) score of 6.5, with no band falling below 6.

- Students who wish to apply for transfer to a course in another faculty must contact that faculty directly for information on transfer conditions.
Additional information for international students
International students who transfer to a course conducted at a La Trobe University Victorian Campus will be liable for the fees payable for that course in the year that they transfer.
