Creative Writing

A number of subjects from various programs focus on Creative Writing. These subjects would be of interest to students who wish to develop their skills in the art and craft of writing. Creative Writing is construed more broadly than the writing of fiction. Creative Writing can include writing for publication, the stage, electronic media, advertising and public relations, for example.

Students may take a sub-major in the following subjects in creative writing as part of their degree however, a major in creative writing is not available. Students qualifying for a degree with a creative writing sub-major must accrue at least 110 credit points from the subjects listed below, including 30 credit points at first year, 40 credit points at second year and 40 credit points at third year.
