Aboriginal studies

Students qualify for a degree with an Aboriginal studies sub-major by taking approved combinations of subjects from anthropology, archaeology, behavioural health sciences, English, genetics and human variation, history, legal studies, linguistics, religious studies, and sociology. Subjects either focus explicitly on aspects of Aboriginal societies or offer thematic, theoretical, or methodological approaches directly relevant to Aboriginal studies.

Program of study

Students qualifying for a degree with an Aboriginal studies sub-major must accrue at least 110 credit points from the subjects listed below, including 30 credit points at first year, 40 credit points at second year and 40 credit points at third year.

Important notice: not all of the subjects listed below will be available every year.
