Equality and Diversity Centre

The Equality and Diversity Centre works to support and improve opportunities for staff and students in higher education. The Equality and Diversity Centre is especially aimed at developing programs and policies which improve access for students and support the successful completion of their studies.

Disability Support Services

Disability Liaison Officers are able to assist students in assessing their needs and provide supports to ensure they are able to participate fully and to the best of their ability.

The Equality and Diversity Centre at La Trobe University also offers a support program for students who arrived in Australia as refugees or asylum seekers.

The Equality and Diversity Centre undertakes activities that assist in removing barriers to access for disadvantaged students and promote equality of opportunity in higher education. The Equality and Diversity Centre also coordinates and develops programs and policy to ensure our diverse workforce have equal access to the opportunities and benefits of employment.
