Coursework programs
Master of Civil Engineering (Sustainable Infrastructure) (Honours) – Bendigo (SMHCEB)
The School of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences at Bendigo has introduced a postgraduate course that will address the critical shortage of civil engineers both nationally and internationally.
In the first year of this two year course students will complete eight subjects of study which are designed to enhance the students’ skills in the area of sustainable infrastructure. In the second year of this course students can complete a period in industry or a research project.
The course aims to respond to the growing world-wide need to move towards sustainable civil engineering practices and aims to produce multi-skilled graduates capable of applying a diverse range of knowledge and abilities to the analysis and solution of sustainability issues in civil engineering.
Admission requirements
Applicants must have successfully completed a Bachelor of Civil Engineering course or equivalent qualification to be eligible to enrol in this course.
Students will be selected on academic merit.
Professional recognition
The course will contribute to the continuing professional development of the students, which is a requirement of all professional engineers.
