Master of Arts by Coursework in Cinema Studies – Melbourne (Bundoora) (AMAC)

Both fee-paying and Commonwealth Supported Places (CSP) are available. Details of fees are provided with the application kit.

Duration

This course is one year to 18 months full-time, or two to three years part-time.

Admission requirements

Applicants are required to have completed a four year Honours degree, a Master of Arts (Preliminary) with at least an H2A result in Cinema, the Postgraduate Diploma in Cinema Studies with at least a B average, or an equivalent qualification.

Course requirements

Students enrolled in this program are required to pass 60 credit points of coursework in Cinema Studies or approved alternatives at fifth year level, including the unit Issues and Methods CST5IAM, if this unit has not already been taken. A 15,000-word minor thesis must be submitted on a topic approved by the Course Coordinator. All units are worth 20 credit points.
