The Master of Nursing (Urology & Continence) is a 1.5 year, full-time or 2-3 year, part-time award with exit options available at either the Graduate Certificate (one year, part-time, 60 credit points) or the Postgraduate Diploma (one year, full-time or two years part-time, 120 credit points). The course focuses on preparing nurses for advanced practice as specialist urology and continence nurses. This course meets the needs of the health care system by addressing the problem of the shortage of skilled nurses within the field of urological and continence nursing. The course is only available via distance education.
Admission requirements
Applicants seeking entry into the Master of Nursing (Urology & Continence) must be a Division 1 Registered Nurse and hold a current practising certificate with the Nurses Board of Victoria, or its equivalent.
