Duration: Graduate Certificate: 1 year part-time

Postgraduate Diploma: 1 year full-time, 2 years part-time

Master: 1.5 years full-time, 2-3 years part-time

The Master of Nursing (Breast Care) is a 1.5 year, full-time or 2-3 year, part-time award with exit options available at either the Graduate Certificate (one year, part-time, 60 credit points) or the Postgraduate Diploma (one year, full-time or two years part-time, 120 credit points). The course is designed to prepare qualified nurses to care for people with breast cancer from the time of screening to diagnosis, and throughout the disease trajectory. The latest developments in research, treatments and psychosocial support are incorporated. This area of study is only available via flexi-mode delivery.

Admission requirements

Applicants seeking entry into the Master of Nursing (Breast Care) must be a Division 1 Registered Nurse and hold a current practising certificate with the Nurses Board of Victoria, or its equivalent.
