Applicants are required to have completed an undergraduate degree in any field but preferably in a counselling, health or welfare field. Special consideration may be given to an exceptional candidate who does not have an undergraduate degree but who has worked in, and significantly contributed to, the health, welfare or education field for a substantial period.

Course structure

The graduate certificate is offered on a part-time basis and students are required to attend for six hours per week for two 13-week teaching periods. Students are expected to attend all teaching sessions and miss no more than four days in any year.
