GRADUATE AND POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMAS

Graduate Diploma in Accounting – Bendigo (LGAB)

This course is designed to enable graduates of any discipline to undertake a conversion course to gain a professional accounting qualification. Students will develop competencies in areas such as financial accounting, management accounting, auditing, finance, business law, taxation and information systems and an understanding of contemporary accounting. No previous experience in accounting studies is required.

Admission requirements

An Australian Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or an approved equivalent qualification.

Course structure

Students must satisfactorily complete a minimum of eight subjects, each worth 15 credit points. This must include no more than two first-year level subjects and a minimum of three third-year subjects from the list below.

Students seeking to meet membership requirements for CPA or ICAA may be required to complete fifteen designated subjects (listed below) and meet other requirements set by CPA or ICAA. Depending on a student’s background, some exemptions/advanced standing may be granted by CPA or ICAA.

Assessment of subject requirements by CPA/ICAA is the sole responsibility of the student and must be completed before enrolment in the course.
