Professor George Russell Memorial Award ($2000)

Awarded to a student enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts at the Mildura Campus who has elected English as their major, completed second year of the course achieving the highest GPA in their English subjects, and has a confirmed enrolment to study in the third year of Bachelor of Arts.

Colin Barrie Acquisition Scholarship

Annual acquisition of artwork to the value of $1000 to a student in the Bachelor of Visual Arts and an acquisition of art work to the value of $1000 to a student in the Bachelor of Graphic Design courses at the Mildura Campus.

RSL Scholarship ($2000)

One $2000 scholarship to a student undertaking the first-year of the Bachelor of Education as a full-time student on the Mildura campus of La Trobe University in 2009. Applicants must be an Australian Citizen and able to demonstrate direct involvement with the Australian Armed Services or be a descendent of a Veteran (Child or Grandchild) and be a resident within the Mildura Rural City Council boundary, Wentworth Shire Council boundary or Robinvale settlement.

Dean’s Medal

Awarded to the outstanding graduating student in the Faculty of Education at each Campus.

Mildura and District Primary Principals’ Association (MDPPA) Scholarship ($350)

Awarded to the most outstanding first year student n both studies and practicum, after completion of their first year in the Bachelor of Education course at the Mildura Campus.

Mildura Returned Soldiers League (RSL) Ken Stewart Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Education Scholarship ($2000)

Awarded to a 2009 commencing Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Undergraduate student in the Bachelor in Education at the Mildura Campus. The scholarship recognises an interest and commitment to the Mildura region, an involvement with the Australian Armed Services or being a descendent of a Veteran and residing in the Mildura region.

La Trobe University Vice-Chancellor’s Regional Scholarships (LVCRS) ($3000)

Five scholarships will be available for students commencing first year full-time undergraduate studies at each of La Trobe’s regional Campuses at Albury-Wodonga, Bendigo, Mildura and Shepparton. The scholarship is valued at $3000 per year for the normal duration of the course including Honours if applicable. Royal College of Nursing, Australia High Achiever Award

Awarded to acknowledge the efforts of a nursing student who has achieved to the best of their ability. The prize is one year’s associate membership of the Royal College of Nursing.
