ISA - International Students' Association

General Information

Welcome

As you all prepare to start a new chapter of your academic life, I am sure that you made the right choice in coming to Latrobe University, a campus with such a multicultural and multi-ethnic student population. The Melbourne campus accommodates more than two thousand foreign students. This huge student population understandably requires representation on campus, and this is the very reason of the existence of the International Students’ Association (ISA). The ISA stands as a vital non-political organization that represents the interests and welfare of all international students on campus.

Our main aims are to promote and assist the welfare, social, educational and cultural activities for overseas students at the University. The ISA also strives for excellence in promoting the goodwill and better understanding amongst Australians and international students. Such understanding and good communication is vital in the adaptation to university life for a foreign student in Australia.

Every year, the ISA committee will reiterate its commitment in making the ISA an even better platform to forge friendships and to serve the interests of all international students. On behalf of the Guild and the ISA, I welcome you all to our university, and wish you the best of luck in your studies.
