Marketing Management

From Semester 2 (July 2009), the Graduate School of Management will offer a brand new Master of Marketing Management course. This course has been developed as a response to a rise in demand from employers around the world seeking graduates with the skill-set to manage a marketing function.

As the course is open to students with an undergraduate degree from any discipline, it attracts domestic and international students from all over the world. This creates the perfect opportunity for students to engage in a vibrant educational environment that echoes modern marketing thinking today.

The Graduate School of Management was recently the first business school in Victoria to adopt the UN-backed Principles of Responsible Management Education. This means that graduates from this course will come out holding an internationally recognised degree in marketing management and will possess the ability to manage all aspects of marketing in a socially responsible manner.

The global outlook of the program will open a world of opportunities for its graduates. The skills they obtain will allow them to work as generalists or specialists in a range of organisations in the private and public sector anywhere in the world.

Students who complete the Master of Marketing Management with a score of 75% or above are invited to apply for the brand new Master of Marketing Management Honours program. In this program, they will spend one semester writing a thesis, which may lead to a PhD and a career in academia.
