MBA and Health Administration
This course provides comprehensive management competency development in both general business and health care. It is designed for health services professionals seeking to expand into senior management roles in both public and private sector organisations. It also provides managers at work in non-health care settings with a pathway into the health sector. Coursework involves interaction with local health services and other organisations via group and individual projects.
Students enrol in two semesters of study for the Master of Health Administration (MHA) and four terms of study for the Master of Business Administration (MBA). Students complete nine subjects from the existing MHA program and 12 subjects from the existing MBA program.
The program is designed for professionals currently working in a health services setting, who are seeking to expand their career pathways into senior management roles in both public and private sector organisations. The program also provides managers at work in non-health care settings with a pathway into the health sector.
