Doctor of Philosophy

A PhD from the Graduate School of Management allows you to combine your academic skills with a specific business focus. By bridging the gap between educational and corporate sectors, our PhD program provides you with crucial opportunities and connections for career advancement.

PhD graduates commonly work with industry leaders from a variety of fields at a national and international level. Many PhDs take on leadership roles in business, government, and non profit organisations. They are often recognised by the media as experts on a broad range of issues.

The PhD program enables candidates to engage in independent research that should make an original contribution to knowledge. Research may be undertaken in any discipline within the Faculty. All doctoral programs are approved and administered by the Higher Degrees Committee (Research). The Doctor of Philosophy is taken by thesis only. There are no set commencement dates as these are organised around the availability of the supervisor and candidate.
