K B is a chartered accountant and has hands-on management experience in the Asia Pacific region. He held finance and regional management positions with American and Asian multinational corporations. Positions held in these multinational companies include directorships on their boards, finance director, and general manager. He has been a successful Country Manager of a manufacturing start-up in Malaysia for an American global company.

KB's research interest is in finance, he has a Doctor of Business Administration degree, his thesis is on finance. He has presented papers at international conferences and published extensively in the finance area. His latest book on finance is 'Applied Financial Econometrics in E-Commerce' published in the 'Contributions to Economic Analysis' series by Elsevier Science/North Holland.
