New Master of Marketing Management

From Semester 2 (July 2009), the Graduate School of Management will offer a brand new Master of Marketing Management course. This course has been developed specifically as a response to a rise in demand from employers around the world seeking graduates with the skill-set to manage a marketing function.

As the course is open to students coming with an undergraduate degree from any discipline, the course is sure to attract domestic and international students alike from all over the world. This is will create the perfect opportunity for students to engage in a vibrant and global climate that echoes modern marketing thinking today.

The GSM recently adopted the UN-backed Principles of Responsible Management Education as the first business school in Victoria. This means that graduates will come out holding an internationally recognised degree in marketing management as well as the ability to manage all aspects of marketing in a socially responsible manner.

The global outlook of the program will open a world of opportunities for its graduates. The skills they obtain will allow them to work as generalists or specialists in a range of organisations in the private and public sector anywhere in the world.

Students who complete the MMM with a score of 70% or above are even invited to apply for the brand new honours program. In this program, they will spend one semester writing a thesis, which may lead to a PhD and a career in academia.
