Overseas study opportunities

An opportunity exists for current MBA students to participate in a three-week, two-unit research project in either Europe or Vietnam.

The objective of this unit is to allow students to formally research a topic of interest relating to business and management in an Asian or European country. Students are free to choose their own topic and work as individuals.

The program will involve desk research, discussions with subject experts, interviews with relevant firms, visits to regional bodies and a tour of business organisation within the host country.

Costs

The standard costs associated with enrolling in a 2 unit Research Project (30 credit points) apply. Fee-Help is available for domestic students, if applicable.

Students will be expected to meet the following costs:

  1. Return airfare
  2. Accommodation
  3. Lunch/dinner
  4. Local transport for the region

Study grant

Eligible students can benefit from a study grant from La Trobe University. Further information on this grant can be found at Grants, Scholarships and Costs.
