The 2009 dates set out below include our Orientation and Transition (O&T) week and the ‘Settling In’ program offered to international students who are expected to join college on 6 February 2009.

What is included

  • Furnished study bedrooms
  • Sheets and bedding (cleaned weekly)
  • Study support for first years
  • A full program of events and activities  (some of which, such as the College ball, may incur a charge)
  • Daily breakfast and dinner
  • Orientation program
  • Access to the college’s services and facilities
  • Rooms are cleaned weekly – bathrooms and toilets daily
  • Residents also have access to the Division of Residential Service’s sponsored global programs in 2009

What is not included

Fees do not include the following additional costs:

  • Refundable Bond of $500.00 is a deposit refundable on departure, subject to the conditions of tenancy and residency.
  • Orientation and Transition Program Fee of $88.00 (including GST). This contributes to the program for new residents in first semester.
  • Student Association of $110.00 per year (including GST). The college’s student association organises a large number of sporting, social, cultural, musical and other events. The fee for one semester or part of some semester will be $50.00.
  • Facilities and Services Fee of $350.00 (including GST). This refers to a charge levied on the college by the university and contributes to the installation and upkeep of the campus’s physical infrastructure. The contribution for one semester or part of one semester will be a proportion of the total.
