Academic and study support
Glenn College provides an outstanding study support program for first year residents, designed to assist them to settle into the university environment, make the most from lectures and seminars, and come to terms with the demands of independent learning.
Study mentors
Glenn selects and trains study mentors from later-year residents. Mentors meet weekly with first years in their course and study areas during first semester and provide practical advice, motivation and study tips. Each mentor is responsible for a small group of 1st year students from their own Faculty.
Study focus groups
Academic mentors initiate study groups and organise groups of residents from different year levels that study similar subjects together. Residents get to know how lectures and tutorials work, who is available to assist them, what is expected of them, how to take notes in lectures, write essays and assignments and much more.

Through the Text Book Buying Scheme, the college supports first year students by purchasing key texts for course groups. The textbooks purchased are then loaned out through the Mentors.

International students are warmly welcomed at Glenn College, which has a dedicated student leader to look after their welfare.
