Biographical Notes
I obtained my Honours (with a University Medal) and PhD degrees in earth sciences at Queensland University. My PhD thesis was on Triassic palaeobotany of southeastern Queensland, but my interests are now centred on environmental geoscience, particularly aspects of groundwater contamination. I taught at Melbourne University Geology Department for 5 years before moving to La Trobe University in 1985.
