Biographical Notes
Although I am originally from Hungary, I have spent some time studying in Australia in the past few years. In 2007, I completed a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Environmental Science at the University of Technology, Sydney, Australia (UTS). My research project focused on ecotoxicology and I had the opportunity to work at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in a collaborative project funded by the Warrigah Council. Over the summer break in 2006, luckily, I could spend some time in Melbourne at RMIT undertaking a researcher internship. In Hungary, my Masters studies focused mainly on environmental management and current environmental issues. Just before my return to Australia in September, 2008, I had completed an Engineering Management Masters degree. During my studies in Hungary, I had attended several summer universities in Paris, Belgium and Budapest on climate change and other current environmental issues.

I have just started my PhD studies at La Trobe University under the supervision of Dr. John Webb and Dr. Ian Potter at the Environmental Geoscience Department. My PhD project investigates improved neutralisation procedures for Acid Rock Drainages.

Outside the university, I enjoy MUSIC: ball room and salsa dancing, and singing. I am also very adventurous; I like scuba diving, travelling around the world, meeting new people, learning new languages.
