Graduate Ambassador Program
The Finance Division is pleased to announce the launch of the Finance Graduate Program 2013. The program begins in March and is a two year program designed to give two La Trobe Accounting graduates the opportunity to work in the Finance Division.
The Program
The program involves two 12-month rotations within Corporate Planning, Corporate Reporting,
Capital Administration and Accounting Support. Within each rotation the graduates will also
spend a period of time in Financial Operations learning GST, FBT, Accounts Payable, Accounts
Receivable and Procurement activities. These teams focus on different aspects of the Finance Division
Function, and are all headed by an experienced manager, most of whom are Certified Practicing Accountants or
Charted Accountants and can support the practical experience requirements of the programs. These rotations ensure
enough time to develop a deep understanding of the operations of the team, whilst still providing a wide variety
of experiences.
Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for this program applicants must have recently completed a La Trobe University accounting degree or a degree accredited by CPA Australia or the Institute Charted Accountants of Australia. Moreover applicants must be eligible to work full time in Australia.
Timeframe
Below is a recruitment timeframe for the Finance Graduate Program 2013:
- Early November 2012 - Application opens
- 17th January 2013 - Application closes
- 14th February 2013 - Interviews concluded
- 21st February 2013 - Appointments made
- 14th March 2013 - Commencement of graduates
