Bachelor of Business (Sport Management)
When considering studying at La Trobe, the deciding factors for me where the location, the subjects and where the course would take me. I enrolled at La Trobe as a mature age student, as I had previously studied at the University of San Francisco, Salt Lake Community College and Deakin University.
To me, the best things about my course are the practical and career specific subjects and the knowledgeable and supportive lecturers and tutors. I believe that this course offers great career opportunities and I wish to gain work within Melbourne's growing sporting sectors. During my course, I have also undertaken placement in a local sporting organisation, taking on marketing and promotional activities.
The best thing about the Melbourne (Bundoora) campus is the environment which is very green and pleasant. The campus is big so it never seems overcrowded or busy. It is also very easy to access support from staff.
I think the course I am undertaking is excellent and would recommend it to anyone interested in the sporting industry and wanting to have a careeer with sports teams.
