I Transferred to La Trobe's bachelor of Business degree from a Marketing degree at Swinburne. I really enjoyed all of my marketing subjects at La Trobe because of the fantastic student support and this in turn helped me to get into honours.
When considering tertiary studies, I thought about my work experience in sales. I really enjoyed interacting with people and I felt that a degree in Marketing would help me to achieve my goal of becoming CEO of a major Australian company. I wanted to get into the work force as soon as possible, however, because I have enjoyed studying so much, a teaching career at La Trobe has become my priority of late. I am now aiming for first class honours to get a PhD scholarship.
On campus, the social life is great. I met my current two best friend shere on campus. The gym is also a great and I play both soccer and basketball there. The library is a great facility and provides a quiet and comforatable place to study.
For secondary students who are hoping to study at La Trobe uni, do as well as you can in Year 12. When you get to uni, make sure you go to class, stay on top of your studies and don't hesitate to ask doe help here because everyone at La Trobe is willing to help you.
