My supervisors are fantastic; I have been given office space and access to a printer, which is necessary for sustained research. Also, I really like the Bundoora campus – it is lovely and spread out, which made a nice change from the inner city campuses. The recreationa facilities such as the gym are great. Plus I’ve made some good friends from within my course.

Hopefully I get employment within the sport management industry. I would not rule out, however, continuing research with the possibility of postdoctoral studies.

I have really enjoyed my time as a postgraduate student at La Trobe. It is a good campus and there are resources available especially for postgraduate students that set it apart from other universities. I would encourage other students if thinking about doing a PhD to definitely apply to La Trobe University.
