My name is James Lawrence and I am a student ambassador currently studying a Bachelor of Business at La Trobe University.
I chose business due to the diverse range of possible outcomes offered via majors and minors in my course - my goal is to work in marketing. It is technical talk – however it allows me to specialise in a specific area in my studies.
I like being a student ambassador as I get to help future students make informed decisions about their future and university. This is something that La Trobe did for me when I was unsure.
My advice to any future student is that you really should talk to people who are doing the course that you are interested in. If you like the sound of it, go and visit the university campus to find out more.
