Brief Profile

Marnie was appointed Work Integrated Learning Coordinator (Bundoora campus) in the Faculty of Law & Management in April 2010. She has worked in the tertiary sector for nine years in a range of careers and recruitment focussed positions.  Marnie has experience working in the university, TAFE and dual sector environment with a variety of industry and teaching networks.  She has also worked extensively with diverse student groups from within the secondary school, university and TAFE student cohort. Working in an Employer Liaison support role for three years in Student Career Development at Victoria University (VU), Marnie developed an interest in the Human Resources and employment fields. A major component of the position involved strengthening the universities relationships with employers in order to increase the employment outcomes for students.  Marnie’s work in a dual sector tertiary environment led to a strong interest in careers education and curriculum pathways, which later resulted in her working as a Student Recruiter at VU. Further recruitment positions followed at both Monash and NMT.
