Before taking this class, participants should have attended the NVivo Quickstart class; or have equivalent experience. In this hands-on workshop you will learn how to use NVivo to manage and organise your literature review, import different sources of information into your NVivo project, including bibliographic data from EndNote, take notes from the literature, organise your materials to create themes and topics and change categories as your literature review evolves. The two-hour workshop includes: importing bibliographic data, taking notes in NVivo and linking these notes to sources, coding your data into themes and categories and using queries to find information in the literature and identify relationships. The session will also include tips on managing your literature review and useful nodes/ categories. Please note: if you have taken this class and need additional assistance, please feel free to come to one of our Drop-in sessions. No booking is required. The dates are listed on the training page.This is a Research Smart class aimed at postgraduate students.
