Design flaws? The National Disability Insurance Act and the forthcoming Productivity Commission Review.
This presentation will provide an accessible legal analysis of the key legal tests for funding and eligibility under the NDIS Act. It will address the key tribunal and court decisions on the Act, focusing in particular on the key statutory requirement that funded supports be “reasonable and necessary”.

Healthy Dying? Providing end-of-life care in disability community living services: An organisational model using a public health approach
This presentation will report on a three year research project aiming to improve end-of-life care outcomes for people with intellectual disability. It will examine policy, systems and practice issues within a solution-focused framework, and the feasibility of clients receiving end-of-life care in their ‘home’.
