The series is presented across the Mildura and Bendigo campuses and features an exciting line up of nationally recognised artists.  This series is presented in partnership with Mildura Arts Centre.

Leo Coyte is a painter whose recent work merges realistic, semi-figurative objects and bodies with abstract bursts of colour to create a kind of celebratory irreverence. He mines bits and pieces of various painting traditions that interest him to create his own unique style. The works he creates from this 'push-and-pull' process reflect a subconscious assemblage of fiction and his own memories and often give rise to a collection of protagonists immersed in the absurd and generate an open-ended narrative.

This lecture will take place at the Mildura Campus and video conferenced to Business room 133 at the Bendigo Campus.
