Master of Ergonomics (M.Erg.) by research thesis only

For this degree, students are required to complete a research thesis only (50,000 words), enabling them to develop a very high level of expertise in their chosen research field. It may be completed in a minimum of one year full-time or two years part-time.

Pre-requisites

Applicants must normally have completed:

  1. a Graduate Certificate or (Post)Graduate Diploma in Ergonomics in which they achieved at least a B (70%) grade average, AND
  2. an Honours degree or equivalent.

Attendance

Contact between each student and their supervisor(s) is arranged on an individual basis.

Upgrading to a PhD

Students who can demondtrate satisfactory progress and a capacity for doctoral research may be invited to upgrade to a PhD degree
